Normally, it takes around three hours to get through the Otay Mesa Port of Entry in San Diego, California, but lately, it’s taking up to eight hours. Last week, Tijuana traffic officials made some changes, causing the delays, forcing trucks to join long wait lines weaving their way through residential neighborhoods. Those involved with the trucking industry in that area are meeting with city leaders to figure out a solution because truckers make money when they are moving, not sitting still.
