Kenworth has launched its first-ever electric truck, the Kenworth T680E. This battery-electric Class 8 zero-emission truck can now be ordered and production will begin in 2021. In its almost 100 years in business, this is Kenworth’s flagship electric model and will help leave less of an emission footprint out there. Depending on what is being hauled, the T680E has an estimated operating range of 150 miles and uses a CCS1 CD fast charger. It was designed for pickup and delivery applications.
