Winter is coming, and as I write, snow is falling in areas around the country. It’s an unpredictable season and it’s always good to be prepared for all scenarios to keep everyone safe. One important piece of advice for this season is to keep your driver safe. It sounds simple, but if the conditions are dangerous, don’t send out your drivers. Also, take care of your trucks. Get them winter-ready by checking out the engine, the fluids, and the tires. Another piece of advice is to hire more employees, especially these days. The pandemic and shutdown are coming to an end and trucks are running hot. Having extra drivers on hand to offset the extra work and the delays winter causes is a good idea.
