The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and Attorney General Ashely Moody have teamed up to create the Highway Heroes campaign. Together, they will be asking half a million truck drivers to join the fight against human trafficking. They will be mailing out materials to Florida’s CDL holders and have an educational website available to use. Truckers spend the majority of their time on the road and are in a unique position to spot and report suspected signs of human trafficking.
