The 2020 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree is on its way and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is along for the journey. The tree was harvested in Colorado’s Uncompahgre National Forest and will be transported almost 2,000 miles with many stops along the way. The FMCSA is working with local law enforcement and making sure the big rig hauling the tree is running safely and the 55-foot Engelmann spruce arrives on time. Along the route, the tree will stop at 10 outdoor celebrations, where locals will get to learn about the Christmas tree tradition and how to safely share the road with big trucks. U.S. Capitol delivery date is November 20. Click the link below to learn more about this.
