She suggests riding along with drivers, have them use the software, and get their feedback as they are going along on their routes. Small things like pop-ups can be distracting for truckers and would not be a good feature on an app built especially for them. Software and technology for truck drivers should be built to help truck drivers with their everyday routines, not hinder them or cause them discomfort.
