During the North American Commerical Vehicle Show in Atlanta, ConMet introduced it’s PreSet Plus Electic Hub (eHub). This motor/generator mounts at the wheel-end in between the axle spindle and brake shoes. ConMet is going to launch a reefer trailer that uses this new eHub system instead of idling the engine to get continued power, keeping the refrigeration running and reducing emissions.
