It can already detect distraction and drowsiness, but now it can also detect cell phone usage and smoking while driving. Distracted driving, especially while using a cell phone, is one of the most common reasons for accidents. Eyesight Technologies is using its AI software to combat these distracted driving problems by analyzing the driver’s facial expressions and sending them an alert.
