Teaming up with Super Bowl security this year will be U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Together, they will be using truck-mounted x-ray machines to scan all trucks coming into the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. As a boost to security, they will be scanning everything from food products to equipment starting Monday through game day. Normally, these scanners are used at ports to keep contraband and threats out of the country. The goal with these scanners is to make sure the Super Bowl is a safe place for everyone, creating a great event for all attending.
