Scania is putting together a trailer covered in solar cells and using that energy to power a plug-in hybrid truck. Like a previous collaboration, Scania will be working with Ernst Express again with this new venture. The 18-meter trailer will be covered in a total area of 140 square meters of solar cells. These cells will be along the top and sides of the trailer, covering the majority of available space.
